That’s one of the DMs I got in response to this IG story. Too funny. To tell you the truth, I’ve never been a big layer-a-jacket-over-a-hoodie guy but this felt right for some reason…

Did you know the Oscars were last night? I guess during normal times I’d probably be writing today about some of the best and worst men’s red carpet looks but Robin and I didn’t even bother to watch. Instead, we finished watching The Godfather, a movie that never gets old to me.

You’ll have to forgive me because I actually feel a little dazed right now. My morning got off to a pretty jarring start.

After Coco’s morning walk, her prize is to get hooked up to a long leash that we’ve tethered to a tree in the backyard and chase around her big blue Jolly Ball. When she gets it, we make her bring it back and sit next to us before we kick it up the hill again for her to take off after.

Well, instead of going straight at it this time, she decided to run behind me and…

Both legs, actually.

As Coco ran up the hill, I was airborne. It was kind of Matrix-like when it happened. Time slowed down and a camera panned around me 360-degrees as I was suspended in the air. Not really—though that is totally what it felt like.

And then I hit the ground flat on my back and little birds and stars circled around my head.

I’m pretty much fine, I think. I’ve got a little kink in my neck and, like I said, I feel a little dazed. Can I just take a nap the rest of the day?

TUESDAY: 3 Easy Ways To Style a Classic Navy Blazer for Spring

If there’s one jacket you’ve got to own, it’s a classic navy blazer. No other garment in your closet will work harder for you. This is another simple outfit video whose title speaks for itself!

I decided to keep the outfits relatively casual, which seemed apropos both from the spring standpoint and the current environment—though there’s one business casual one as well sandwiched between the two blazer-with-jeans looks.
